40/40
"This is a good place if you're looking for cheap admission, strong drinks, good music and a great location." -- Maurice
This club is owned by Jay-Z and dedicated to baseball players who've hit over 40 home-runs and stolen 40 bases in a season. The floors are marble and the lounge chairs swing from the ceiling. The music is, as you may expect, a heavy rotation of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. Expect to pay $225+ for a bottle and around $15+ for a mixed drink-- but these are fairly standard prices for a Manhattan nightclub. Be prepared to be frisked at the door, but the cover is generally only $10 (which can push into the 100's of dollars at other clubs).
